Don’t call me Crazy!

I hear my mother’s voice in my head “Doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result is the definition of Crazy.”

First of all, DON’T call me Crazy! I don’t ever MEAN to be.

Do you ever feel like your wheels are spinning?

Here’s my video capturing this post. It was taken overlooking the frozen Georgian Bay on a beautiful sunny day….which was my birthday;)
Watch the video here:

In the video I shared what I did to get out of my own way….and here it is flushed out with a little more detail.

Luckily, I had it in my calendar that I had to leave my office/house. I had to get out of my own way, and do something different.

I was going to volunteer at my wonderful friend Kim’s house to work with Tatum, Kim and Chris’ third daughter, who was born with a brain injury.

Tatum, is an incredible soul and my words wouldn’t do her any justice, so if you are curious about meeting a true angel and her family here’s her blog:

What’s the message here to take away? Perspective is a gift. Seeing your scenario from a different viewpoint is hugely helpful.

SO… something differently. Go connect with a friend for coffee or lunch to break it down, go for a walk or a run (I find this is when I do my best and most innovative thinking), volunteer….just stop doing the same thing over and over again, giving us permission to call you CRAZY!

The above are reactive suggestions.

Here’s a challenge: Look at your week and proactively add into your week’s commitments something you’ve been wanting/meaning to do.

Just do it!

It will bring so much value to you and it will shift your perspective on whatever it is you are working toward or thinking about.

We’d love to hear from you either here or post it to our FB group here:
